Meditation and Resilience

Come and practice with the brothers and sisters from our small practice center near Paris for our International Wake Up retreat!

This year we will not only open our doors for our french speaking friends, but reach out to Wake Up friends from different corners of the world for a long weekend of practice 5-8 mai!

Together we will deepen our practice of sitting meditation, walking meditation, and mindfulness in daily life.

These simple and profound practices can help us refocus our mind, relax our body, generate peace and joy, soothe our painful emotions, develop our emotional intelligence, and cultivate our inner freedom.

Through sharing circles, we will together create precious spaces of trust to listen to each other and cultivate the joy of being together, kindness, and compassion. We will find inspiration through the teachings to establish simple and lasting daily habits to take better care of ourselves.

We believe that today, especially for busy and committed people, self-care is not a luxury but a necessity. The practice of meditation can help us face life’s challenges, whether personal or societal, with greater resilience, clarity and courage.

Taking better care of yourself to better take care of the world, this will be the proposal of this retreat for young adults (18-35 years old) Meditation and Resilience.

We will practice together with the sisters of the Maison de l’Inspir, and the brothers of the Monastery of the Healing Source as well as the brothers of the Hameau du Haut.
