The Monastery is the East side of Paris in the region of Seine-et-Marne close to the city of Meaux. Located in the village of Verdelot 77510. It takes 85 minutes by train from the Station Gare de l’Est – Paris.
The current planning is for some Monks to be at Verdelot in October 2018. The first retreat will be held in the spring of 2019.
Yes, more or less. The Monks still have to decide on the program for the new monastery, but they are thinking about organising francophone, anglophone and Vietnamese retreats on different themes (family, health, Wake Up, …).
The Monks want to support their Sisters at Maison de l’Inspir in Paris. The Sisters are no longer able to respond to the enormous demand for spiritual support, days of mindfulness and retreats. You can read a bit more about this in this blog.
Healing Spring Monastery will house the Monks. The Nuns will continue to live in Maison De l’Inspir. However the Nuns and Monks will help each other while organising retreats and days of mindfulness.
Yes, that is a possibility.
Retreat payments help pay for food and the other operational expenses of hosting a retreat at a practice centre. The monastic community chooses to keep these costs low in order to make the events easily accessible.
The office is located in Plum village, Upper hamlet, le Pey. Thenac, Dordogne 24240 France
