Saturday and Sunday 27 and 28 October, we will continue together to renovate the buildings and prepare the garden of the monastery for the winter retreat.
All practitioners and friends in the area are welcome to join us for a day or two. Unfortunately, we will not be able to host you for the night, the organization of our monastery is not ready for that yet.
The program will start at 9:30 am and finish at 7:00 pm, but you are welcome when you can come. We will share a meal together for lunch and for the evening,and you are invited to bring something to share with everyone.
The work will mainly involve some renovation in the rooms as well as general gardening, so you are welcome to bring suitable clothes. Also, if you can bring gloves or painting or gardening equipment, this will be very helpful to our organization of the day.
The address of the monastery is: 2 rue Pascal Jardin 77510 Verdelot. It is possible to come by bus from Gare de l’Est or Marne la Vallée – Chessy (2 hours). We can organize a shuttle to bring you back to the station in La Ferté-sous-Jouarre in the evening, according to the needs of everybody.
